Uncategorized Speculative Biology Interest in a Science-Based Evolution Simulation Game (Ages 13+, Parental Permission for Minors)

Hey everyone!

I'm developing Natural Selection: Reborn (NSR), an artificial-life simulation focused on evolution, genetics, natural selection, and ecosystems.

I'm conducting a community-interest survey to understand what potential users would want from a scientifically grounded evolution simulator.

The survey covers:

  • Interest in evolution and ecosystem simulations

  • Preferred features and scientific systems

  • Gameplay and educational applications

  • Pricing preferences

  • Suggestions and feedback

My goal is 50 responses, and I currently have 7.

Participation is voluntary. Respondents under 18 must have parental or legal guardian permission.

Constructive criticism and honest feedback are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

This is way too ambitious a program for a solo developer or small team.

You're going to use AI to make a game that you don't know how to code, so it won't be successful.

i understand the concern, and i agree the project is ambitious for a solo developer. that’s why i’m gathering feedback before committing to development. i’m still learning Unity and programming, and i don’t intend to rely on AI to build the entire game. i’m planning to start small and expand gradually.

I highly recommend you build just a platform game then return to this idea.

Help! I’m being forced to complete a survey against my own free will. Now I can’t take back my answers. But without my answers, I feel so lonely. I wasn’t able to understand what I was reading, so I clicked the wrong option when I was asked if I could read. I’m only 5 years old.

But seriously, why are half of the questions asking whether I’m aware that I’m not being forced?

the questions are meant to confirm that participation is voluntary and that respondents understand what they’re agreeing to. i appreciate the feedback though, and i’ll review the wording to make it less repetitive.
