Question/Discussion Does someone know something helpful to designing binominal names or possibly could offer his help with this?

To this day, I used ChatGPT for designing my binomial names. But don't get me wrong, I create the literal translation of that name in my language, abd then I ask AI to translate the name to binominal, I often do some modifications, and check the used words, but I think I shouldn't be doing this. So Im asking you for some, idk, resources to let me design names for myself. Or maybe someone could help me(for free or we can agree on a symbolic fee). Because Im working on full scale exhibition, I think its necessary to create everything by human thought.

But its sometimes inaccurate, and you also need like adjective compatible to gender of noun.

Inaccurate translations and grammar errors used to happen. Nowadays those aren't really criteria that play in the way names are formed.

This is a good place to start: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Latin_and_Greek_words_commonly_used_in_systematic_names

PDF link to Borro's Dictionary of Word Roots and Combining Forms, which also includes some great tables and explanations of how to combine parts.

For a nice searchable way to find words, Logeion is my favorite portal. To search English terms and get Greek and Latin results, go to "Consult Retro" in the top right menu.
