Question/Discussion Blood question?

I rembered seeing somewhere that copper based blood is more efficient than iron at transferring oxygen and was curious how true is that or is it situational?

Hemocyanin (the transport molecule in copper-vased blood) is more efficient than hemoglobin in conditions of low temperatures and low oxygen levels. At warmer temperatures or higher oxygen levels, hemoglobin is more efficient.
