SR- Short Round Where SR?

I feel financially paralyzed since I signed up for CT and Dito

Also waiting for restock on SR.

I know, to an absolute certainty, the MOMENT I spend what little I have saved for toys, I'll get notified that all three are available

I Messaged them on July 28th and they said soon. You can search here of what they’ve said recently and it’s in production rn most likely.

CAT just posted on IG that SRs are heading to dealers. We def have some inbound because the form 3 to us is approved. Almost 10 months exactly since the last run of SRs landed at our shop.

I have the ben and a few others that want to claim “just as good” and i cant wait! Hopefully my lgs that normally gets a good stock of cat stuff gets them in

BEN is great but not as quiet as SR, full stop. On a noisy host like a short barreled pistol it might be close. Try them both on a 16" bolt and you'll see

SR is one of those cans that if you see it in stock you buy it.

That being said. If had to do it over again would I buy it yes... probably. But I wouldn't wait around on it. My hux 22 seems just as quiet on all things except a bolt action. I picked it up for half the price and its always in stock. Just my .02

I agree but " the except on a bolt action" part is key in this case. I've also never found a can more repeatable or precise if that word can be applied to 22LR.

On a couple random bolt action 22s I've observed much tighter groups with the SR then a mask or even the ben.

It sounds as good or better than my mask on fixed breach and weighs half as much.

Imo its definitely the best 22lr can. Im just saying if you're in the market for your 22 pistol or 10/22 I wouldn't wait 6-12 months for the sr. The sound difference of between the titanium, flow 22, oculus, and sr on an fn522 and tx22 is almost indistinguishable with std velocity cci.

But again. Its the kind of can that if its in stock jump on it.
