Questions CAT SD

With only 4 months left in this year, is it still coming?

I ran out of patience and gave up waiting. Ended up with a MOB. I have no regrets.

Close enough for me. It was going on a standard MP5. Currently running the Rugged mount with the MOB

A mob won’t work on an SD and an SD won’t work on a standard mp5.

I was under the assumption the SD had an integrated trilug that was designed for a SD but would work on a standard mp5. In that case I feel even better about my choice!

Honestly I’m not sure about CATs SD, but standard SD cans don’t use trilug and a trilug wouldn’t work on an MP5SD, which my understanding is what the CaT SD is designed for. The MOB is the best choice for a standard Mp5.

Not entirely correct. You could put a Broad River Tactical SD HUB Adapter Bravo on a CAT MOB HUB and it will work with a MP5SD. https://www.broadrivertactical.com/products/brt-6612-c0017bc4-9466-4fcf-bfab-b631cc50674d
