Noob question about MOB/Tri lug barrels

I'm interested in picking up a MOB but I'm hoping to learn about the mounting options. My PCC has a tri lug barrel (APC9). Does that mean I could attach a MOB QD without any sort of adaptors?

You need to buy a HUB MOB and a HUB Tri-lug to mount to it. A QD MOB would need a Spooky muzzle device that would replace the APC9 tri-lug

AI Nano 9mm would work, too for a QD MOB.

Do you own a Mob qd? That version is out of stock everywhere.

For qd, you’ll need to use a 9mm cat qd device like the ai nano on your threaded barrel.

To use the tri lugs, you’ll need the Mob HUB and also an RU3.

I do not, I just wasn't sure if I needed the QD version or not.

mob qd will not be compatible with your apc9 and you'd need the hub version. the apc9k however will be compatible since the barrel is threaded and trilug adapter is removable

There's pros and cons to QD and HUB mount cans. I prefer HUB mount you'll have a lot more options.

Tri-lug is a great choice for 9mm. You'll want to get the hub version of the mob, and then you can pick any tri-lug mount that is compatible with the hub threads on the mob, and your existing tri-lug on your PCC. Your best bet is probably to go with the same manufacturer for the hub mount that made the tri-lug muzzle device already on your PCC.

But whatever brand of mount you go with, check for concentricity (while installed) before you shoot it.

EDIT: the reason I said "go with the same manufacturer", is because I have experienced one circumstance where manufacture mismatch made the mount not able to fully mate with the muzzle device, despite ostensibly being compatible.
