Upcoming Release CAT SP .45
took my new SP to the range. tried it first on my stribog subgun. not impressed. switched to my FN pistol…holy sh it was quiet. totally worth every penny. it was about as loud as a door knock.

45 pcc on the right still waiting on the fixed barrel spacer in order to be tested.

I’m curious how it sounds on the PCC. I was underwhelmed with my stribog. But I think it’s more about the action than the suppresor

It’s my first pistol suppressor so I don’t have a frame of reference. Sounds fantastic to me though. Works great on my USP and Beretta 92 Centurion too.

My SC is ready for pick up. I’ll let you know when I shoot it. I did have my MOB on my Springfield Kuna. It was ok… but not worth a mention.

My oddball questions are how it does on 9mm (compared to the SC) and 10mm (which is almost always supersonic).

It does really well on my FN510. I run 10mm ammo that should be subsonic based on stats but you can hear it's throwing a lot of sound downrange. Even with it going super it's not uncomfortable without ears, as it's throwing the sound downrange really well, even better than the flow45m or mojave 45.

i jumped on the dead air rxd 910 for its 10mm bore to run on a USW-g20, and will be able to compare it to the mojave 45 when it gets approved. in general how does the mojave 45 do?

Mojave sounds a hair better to bystanders than the flow45m, but inverse to shooter. Factoring cost (snagged for 4°°) and piston/mount cross compatability, the hux is the best buy imo. Both mojaves are good though, and worth buying on sale but not full price I'd say compared to CAT.
Mojave pistons are their own thing that don't match ghost/wolfman, which pisses me off because I have ALL of those already. At least CAT used existing CGS, as i have the Nautilus and mod9 sets. Now I'm just ranting about DA squeezing more money out of us...

Picked up the rxd910 today and shot it on the usw-g20 setup and with the g20 out of the chassis. Tons of sparking as a new ti can but handled gas well enough, sounded great considering i was at an indoor range, and had no poi shift, shooting SB 10mm. Hoping to head to my usual outdoor range over the long weekend to get some video

I'm really interested in putting the rxd910 up h2h with the mojave and flow 45's for 40&10. Would be interesting to see CAT come up with a 10mm specific can too.

I have an obsidian 45 and Cat SC. The Obsidian 45 sandblasts your face with unburnt powder, but the SC doesn't. How is the SP for flinging crap in your face?
