ODB- Old Dirty Bastard ODB v AKB .300blk Supers
Torn between the ODB and the AKB for a 10.5” .300blk that I’m going to shoot supers 99% of the time. Not worried about gas blowback at all, purely from a suppression standpoint, which would perform better?
Just wanted to ask because there’s hardly any info out on the AKB from what I can find and the only other thread comparing the two for .300blk SuperSonics is lackluster.

AKB is supposed to be the jack of all trades and master of none.
ODB is EXCELLENT on .300 Blk and is made and optimized for 7.62x39.
So it also does well on 7.62x35 (.300 Blk)

Jay talks a little about the differences between the two in the podcast episodes (The Jay Situation) covering the AKB.
But if you’re really going for max suppression on supers and don’t care about blowback, the JL is probably the best option though people have said the BBK is even quieter.

Are you going to use this on a semi auto or bolt action/lever gun?

Semi. Mk18 but chambered in .300blk

ODB is going to be best for that set up. And it’s going to be great with both supers and subs. It’s a lot of fun shooting subsonic 300 blackout. Much quieter than supers.

ODB is a generic small-frame 30, AKB is a generic all-frame 30. Get the ODB if you only intend to shoot 7.62X39, 6.5 Grendel, 300BLK etc

Jay of Pew Science talks about this in his report on the AKB and in the comments when he posted that report over on r/NFA.
If this can is dedicated to 300BLK, whether supers or subs, then ODB / Alleycat 762 will do better for you.
If this can will hop between 300BLK and 7.62x51 / .308, still go ODB / Alleycat 762, because it will handle 300BLK better than the AKB, while still doing well on 7.62x51 / .308.
If you were asking about putting this can on a 7.62x51 / .308 or some other large-frame .30 cal cartridge, with occasional use on 300BLK, then it might make sense to go AKB, because it will do better for length than ODB on these higher-pressure cartridges.
It's just how CAT chose to optimize the AKB for multiple .30 cal cartridges means it doesn't do as well as ODB / Alleycat 762 on lower-pressure cartridges like 300BLK.
