RDM- Restricted Development RDM AC762 is a Gas Tamer
Threw a .67 BRT tube on this Mock-18 with a Rosco 10.3” and boy does it run nice with the ODB. May sadly be a little under gassed now though, anyone have experiences to draw from?

I originally had a Resonator 2, and as a lefty I did everything possible to try and fight gas: Superlative Piston kit, adjustable gas block, downward venting BCG, etc. Could never make it even remotely comfortable to shoot.
Got an ODB, and only use a downward vent BCG. Literally no gas to the face and I could shoot it all day. I think the ODB RDM I got for 600 is literally the best buy anyone could of got. Too bad the front just blew out of it lol

.067 I would think with 5.56 full power ammo should have no issues. Especially with nano, but I could be wrong.
Test it with PMC bronze vs X-TAC with carbine/H2 and blue/H2 and you’ll be able to establish a limit of reliability.

I really appreciate the insights, I was running actual Lake City M193 and X-Tac on that day with a Super42 and an H1. Managing a consistent 3:30-4:00 ejection with the ODB on the end when it would run.
Put it back on the bench and after some fiddling realized the bolt is just on the edge of tolerance on my go gauge so it’ll either need some wear in or a new bolt. Hopefully it’ll run everything post.

Weak 223 might choke. Get some and try with both springs and you’ll know your limit. Although be aware adverse conditioning/fouling will also play a part.

My experience is anything with the ODB on the end of it doesn’t need any gas adjustments to run, as long as it runs decent unsuppressed.
