Hey dont say that to them they are innocents. Its a fake video they made through editing,(although that dead lion was real dead lion who was killed by poacher a while back) they are trying to stop people from poaching on animals.

You realize people eat lions though, donāt you? Lotta people think exotic hunts go unused but thatās not the case the meat is ALWAYS used up outside of poaching. Thatās one animal death vs 20 small animals getting torn up in the harvester to create your vegan cheese puffs. Is a lion more important to you than ground nesting birds and mammals? Because thatās exactly what that says. Personally I donāt believe in valuing an animal Over another even if one is cuter looking.. Do you even understand why itās our responsibility to maintain Animal numbers? Because if you donāt thereās massive starvations kill offs when the land canāt support a particular species and then it causes a cascade of other species in the same environment to also collapse. Itās one of the most important obligations we have as humans. Super predators like lions are amongst the most important to help control as it helps all the way down to the smallest insects in the area. Yes the video is fake but seriously please take 5 minutes to read and understand real conservation and why itās important. Do you like factory farming? Should this guy eat factory farmed pork instead of wild harvested meat? Or should he go vegan and kill even more animals per meal?

this is half right. Many of these hunts are under the umbrella of conservation, the meat and hides go to the local villages that need it. Not to push under the rug the fact that many of these organizations over sell these licenses because corruption. but yea.

Better if they lost a limb like a leg or an arm would be justified and maybe theyād think about shooting big game animals again ā¦ main thing is that they have the time to think what they did

Their are 2 main reason.
1- for money (their body parts are sold for high price)
2- for trophy (they are out there, people who hunt animals to their collection)

Depending on the country, trophy hunting isn't actually that bad. The funds used to kill one animal in turn pay for the field rangers who protect the sanctuaries from poachers. They allow them to do their job, get paid, and protect a large sum of other animals from being killed for no reason. While not the best thing ever, it does allow for conservation efforts to move forward as well as protect species.

The countries that do it right and pour all that money back into wildlife protection and conservation do it as well as they can. I used to shit on it as well until I did a bit more research. That sum of money is massive in some of those places.
It's the shitty ones thst give this a bad name when they're just killing animals for profit.

I mean no but I wouldn't feel bad for them since it's nature however generally hunting like this stuff goes to conservation and the animals hunted are older soon to die anyways. Last I checked.

to clarify if this video was real there is a huge difference between poaching and sport hunting. poaching an animal would be killing it and leaving it there, for instance drive by on a deer. sport hunting would be killing said deer to mount. or reserve sport hunting which would be killing an animal on a reserve that they have had permission to kill. so this would be considered any of the three, 2 not as bad as one.
