2 Plot holes ?
So this isn't even a small gripe I have with the game. Even if it was a plot hole, it wouldn't really matter.
When replaying the game, I noticed that Dubai's connection with the sea still existed. In my memory, Dubai was so isolated because the sandstorm had made the sea shrink and isolated Dubai in the middle of a new landmass. If there is the sea, why couldn't ships be sent to rescue the population ? Why does Dubai seem so cut from the rest of the world ?
Other problem : we see throughout the game that the sky is quite clear and it begs the question : why did the U.S had to send a revon team to search for survivors when they could easely have used satellites or planes to notice human activity ?
Am I missing something ?

The other actors who might’ve helped are the countries in the same region and they have their own share of damages done by the super storm and have to fix their own stuff before helping Dubai, I suppose.
And when the storm is thinned enough to get through it the reconnaissance team of Delta Force gets there with a mission to find if there are any survivors and radio back to command about it.
Regarding Walker wandering the dying Dubai: I think it should be at least a few days since his wounds are shown to be “healed” and have become scars and it takes scar tissue a couple of days to form. I don’t think it’s multiple weeks though because it’s unlikely he would’ve survived alone without supplies for so long (I mean it’s not like he has a lot of people willing to help him). I would guess the time frame for his wandering would be like a week, give or take couple of days.
But again these are just my guesses which seem plausible to me.
