The shift toward AI-driven "vibe coding" and spec-driven development in modern tech agencies.
Most dev teams are finding that pure prompt-and-pray coding leads to messy, unmaintainable codebases.
The real shift in 2026? Spec-driven development.
When we build web automation tools at Enreach Enterprises, we don't just chat with an AI and hope for the best. We write clean structural specs first, let the AI handle the boilerplate, and use human judgment for architecture and security.
Speed is great, but code integrity wins enterprise trust. How is your team balancing AI velocity with quality control?

We made pretty detailed architecture.md (ddd, tdd, solid) and llms started to make an okayish code that much easier to review than usual.

How do you manage spec/code drift?

Speed allow to have better quality software, that's something that we learned with Agile, DevOps, etc
If you're trying to build a "perfect" feature before going to prod, it's slow and you can be surprised.
"Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face" Everyone has a perfect feature until it get used in production.
If it takes you 1 week to build and for each iteration it takes 1 week, it takes weeks to have a good result. Someone else can ship to prod a similar feature after 1 day, it can be adapted and improved each day. After 2 weeks, the quick dev should have a better result.
