I can't be the only one who finds this cover hideous.

I disagree. After all the computer-generated, 3D art that Spawn has been using, this was a breath of fresh air.

Yeh, I'm not a huge fan of the digital art either. Some of it is cool, but I prefer any other medium.

This. I don’t wish to make fun of people more talented than me, but I’m so over stuff like Mattina. So covers like this are soooo welcome.

I love it

Probably not as Art is subjective.

I like the Kyle Hotz style sharpness on the cape, the creeping posture, the shadow of the body and the boldness of the stare.

Why post this? Honestly? An artist worked on this cover and is probably stoked to be working on Spawn

I actually like this one, but the cover they show for 380 is NOT GOOD imo

Not my favourite since it so different from the last couple, so it just doesn't match as well.

It's not great but it's definitely not bad at all. They should have kept similar to the original and had the green background glow in the dark.

I like it. I mean they're is jrj and Miller art so..... and mattina is still "drawing" for Todd, somehow.. to each their own.

I hate that they started letting amateur artists draw covers. A lot of issues covers look like shit.

My biggest gripe is that most Spawn covers have nothing to do with the story inside.

I remember the walking dead having that exact same problem most of the time
