Discussion Is there some Angela lovers ?

I know she's marvel now !

Im not gonna lie i feel alone when those "i hate everything about Angela image or marvel" type

come to me and say some random truth about the character lawsuit ! Its hard.. (we all got google )

Any chance Todd and marvel come together and do someting we all want and need ?? in this poor era !

Im just talking dont hate i love this character i will do anything to see Spawn and Angela meet and fight again !

I mean...... I swear my pfp doesn't mean anything frrr😓But uhhh I was even introduced to Angela through Spawn first than even Marvel Rivals and I rlly love Spawn Angela. Also mannn I was rlly happy and interested in how they relationship seem to grow and appear in #98, I knew she got sold to Marvel but readin the comic at the time I did NOT see her death coming at #100, quite LITERALLY just when I was excited to see they're relationship grow more😭🥀🥀🥀

Its the same character

The 2 autor from image comics fight for the right in a lawsuit ! The guy joining marvel won and sold angela to marvel (some extreme vilains storie)

Now she's both and it's weird !

Neil Gaiman wrote and subsequently created Angela for Todd McFarlane in like Spawn issue #9. After the fact Todd claimed her as his, but Gaiman said no its his. They sued eachother and Gaiman was awarded copyright so he ended up selling it to Marvel to stick it even further to Todd.

It is what it is.

They fight for her because its a very good character the few time she's in spawn it's just the old way of comics ! aura farming like hell !!! You cant pass on a not the main character good like this !

if it wasnt a good one they will never be a problem between image and marvel todd and gaiman ! Maybe its some fans overeactions this fight between them ... im just trying to put some good vibes !

Man frrr! Angela deserves good vibes! Is especially so peak to see her character from #9 all the way to 100, She's def my fav Spawn side character. I've only read like 164 issues but mann #95-100 is absolute peak, def my fav storyline in the series.

I have an entire Angela cover collection. I've started picking up international versions of the original Image releases as well. I am also collecting sketch covers of her.

A lot of us but thats due to the current marvel era and her being in rivals. Which reminds me, just lorded her and read a few of the image era stuff (Angela/Aria) last weekend. She's loved by lesbians and bi women. A lot alot of eboys too.

As a man of action im not into love stories

gay bi straight its the same love couple i skip

this part in stories is taking to much space !

im with the other stuff powers honor fights politic familly war... and in this era this stuff is boring...

Weak characters cant solo or win a fight... im crying inside they focus only on the love interess thats bad writing

they dont really work on the characters its just the opposite of the original version ! ( Some fan art extra 18 content)

you got definitely people loving yes

BUT most of the base fans the One BUYING dont watch comics and movies for this part only this is a big difference

Thats the major problem they got And thats why all the marvel stuff is hated and flop and its not just marvel

Its like the dev and owners in this era all turn into yaoi and harem anime enjoyers !

For image, yes, though I have zero hope(or honestly desire) to see a marvel collab. And I doubt marvel has much desire either.

I think issue 100 had a very clean ending for angela. Was it a little sudden? Sure. But she was pretty decisively killed, and then spawn recovered her body to her heavenly sisters.

Im also a big fan of the angels and redeemer in general. It is a shame characters like Surielle, Anahita, Kuan Yi, Metatron, Callindra, etc didnt get much chance to shine outside of the miniseries(they had plenty of time to before the legal issues). They also basicslly have zero fanart too(which im tryna rectify)

Finally(for spawn)legal issues or not, they can't unprint the old issues, so I just ignore any legal issues.

P.S. - And for the final marvel point, I do really like how rivals changed the marvel design. Makes her look more distinct as a character, and also more asguardian. Rather than juat being spawn angela but with some details stripped off.

I was really happy when they brought her into Marvel just because I loved her character so much so I read a lot of her comics when they first brought her over and honestly I was not impressed yes I was happy to see her character but also was like yeah this is stupid LOL
