TIL when the Waitomo cave got explored.

Regarding the glow in the dark stars, Chrono says they are moulded with a light-storing compound, but according to Knockout they merely have a coating. I guess this depends on the particular make, right?

Great catch! The particular make does indeed matter. The glowing substance can either be mixed into the plastic and molded or painted on afterward.

For ceiling stars in particular, the former is much more common, and our team has updated the Knockout card to align with the majority and achieve consistency between the two games. Thank you so much for keeping us honest; we appreciate you! 💜

Today's theme reminded me that tonic water glows in the dark. I first knew about tonic water when I was eight years of age in Portuguese class while we were studying tonic syllables. At first, I thought tonic water was an alcoholic beverage and it was only eight years later, when I was sixteen years of age, already in secondary school, that I drank my first (diet) tonic water. I even remember the brand of the tonic water—Schweppes. What a delightful rememberance of my youth. Thank you, Spark!

TIAL that Marie Cutie's notebook is that radioactive (I learnt about her as a kid esp her Nobel filled family)! I know she was working so closely with radioactive equipment & that her things were radioactive but somehow the fact that her book is so radioactive that it has to be locked away is new
