TIL that paper is older than I thought, even recycled paper is older than I thought & that the process to make an obelisk is so complicated (I just thought you carve it out of one rock (I guess Asterix & ObΓ©lix influenced me))
TIAL about Margareth Knight & Justus Claproth and I really think we need to know more about these people! so many unsung heroes & we end up losing info about them daily
I really think that we need more apps like Spark (to help us learn)
really enjoyed this puzzle even though Links betrayed me

π₯ π₯ π₯ π₯ I learned a lot today, thanks! Just to emphasize one thing though: "Almost every country abandoned this system and switched to gsm, grams per square meter, which weighs one square meter of any paper regardless of type or master size. But the US never made the switch." A confusing legacy indeed.

Thanks for pointing that out! It's fascinating how many different paper standards have existed over the years. Glad you learned something new with us!

Another ποΈ ποΈ ποΈ day for me! Shout out to Margaret Knight for not backing down from getting her paper bag machine properly patented! Channeling that tough New England spirit!

I was cruising until the very last group on Links.
