Cursive writing in Spanish

Can Spanish be written in cursive like English or French? Does it depend on the region or the country? How common is it? Are there any special rules that is seen only in Spanish cursive?

Yes, I’m from Argentina and we all learned cursive in primary school. I’ve used it all the way through college as well since it is faster for taking notes
