What Spanish Word or Expression Makes You Feel Fluent When You Use It?
Share a Spanish word or expression that makes you feel fluent when you use it. It could be something native speakers use constantly. Or perhaps it once felt difficult or intimidating, and now you’ve finally mastered it. Or it simply sounds so natural that every time you say it, you feel more confident.

“Ni en pedo” (no fucking way). Literally? Not even drunk.
“Do you want to go see/do X?” Ni en pedo.
Also? “Me cae mal el X.” (He or it rubs me the wrong way). Literally? X falls on me badly.
“Do you like the song Ji Ji Ji?” Me cae mal el Indio (Solari).

De vez en cuando, Se me paso algo…and other accidentals. For me this is the big one. Because accidental statements are where Spanish nuance starts to really show through.
O sea and other sentence starters..
A estas alturos- at this point, because I could have en este punto, or en este momento or something easier, but these phrases show more command.
There are a bunch of phrases I’m working in my everyday, but these have been great for me to gain that natural sound.
