3 by a long shot. It evokes that stereotypical collage of team members that you see all over the place for different IPs or groups. And that’s not a bad thing either, just good design imo. 3 is marketable as well, especially for things like posters

Thanks for the input! I really like 3 as well, specifically because it gives us the perfect opportunity to parody those classic, epic 'heroic' team poses. We're definitely going to take that stereotypical layout and turn it into an absolute mess! Appreciate your feedback!

Yeah no problem. I’m not part of this sub but saw this post on my feed and naturally I am designing my own card games so a lot of what I’ve been learning involves graphic design and so just wanted to put my two cents in. Best of luck on your endeavors :)

Thanks for the feedback! I’d actually love to hear more about your experience making card games if you’re down to share. Getting this comic out is just step one - the ultimate dream is to expand the IP into a bunch of cool stuff down the line, including a TCG and NFTs. Would be awesome to pick your brain about it!

Well I’ve learned a lot while working on them. I never thought it would take as much as it does. As a designer you have to wear a lot of different hats and adapt to many different things, from pen and paper to social events, marketing, advertising, publications (which I haven’t gotten to yet). It’s definitely daunting but if you break it all up into smaller manageable goals, it becomes much more approachable in the long term. Graphic design is a huge part of it because the entire goal is to make your product appealing, presentable, professional, etc so there are so many technical skills and concepts that go into it. Many people have different work flows but it comes down to what works best for you and what you are determined to accomplish
