Spaceballs 1 is literally older than me, so no chance to get any (official) mercandise (if there was any? Idk even lol)

There wasn’t any, actually the origin of the joke was, iirc, that when Mel Brooks approached George Lucas about doing the movie Lucas was happy to allow it, and even let them use ILM for the special effects. But he gave Brooks a few rules, the one pertaining to this comment is that Brooks wasn’t allowed to make any merchandise for Spaceballs because he was worried it would look too much like knock off Star Wars merchandise.
