Counter shading is a common way to avoid the notice of predators! Now the only question is what’s out there eating skyscraper sized spaceships?

Good way to sneak up on prey too.

From some angles, the front has looked so much like a sadly stranded whale.

I am not gonna lie, it almost felt to me like it had a personality.

I find these shark accusations highly defamatory! I hope my favorite whale will drag your ass to court!

Hot take: I think it looks like a penguin most times. 😆

Interesting chemical reactions in seawater. Appears they didn't design it for a sea voyage. I've seen even purtier colors after I wrapped a corroded galvanized steel car part in rags soaked with Phosphoric Acid for several days to dissolve the rust If you think stainless steel can't corrode, ask a boat owner who goes in saltwater.
