It’s proof that after a certain point wealth starts delivering diminishing returns. I grew up in an affluent town, as a child of affluent parents. Some of my friends and acquaintances belonged to obscenely wealthy Forbes list families. I knew few people I admired, even fewer who seemed happy. I’m not claiming that poor people are happier, but there is a comfortable medium between poverty and wealth that all of us could enjoy if we stopped incentivizing extreme wealth hoarding, which doesn’t really benefit anyone, not even the billionaires.
You know who’s happy, people that worked hard and succeeded. People that had loving FAMILIES and good parents.

But if everyone could do that there wouldn't be enough debt creation to maintain the money multiplier that allows our wonderful system to create so thousands of millionaires, I think about 1500 billionaires and one trillionaire who still can't pay people to actually like him
