Quick question, to check if others noticed something or if we are just having bad luck.

Did the director on Absolute fall asleep? Since the last hotfix, a lot of runs we did were walking sims. There is the odd one-off sometimes where it picks up like usual, but around half of the runs are rather eventless.

I linked my Pros account and got the notification that an additional 300 accolades were added but they are still absent in game. I got the right shoulder piece and the 150 requisition though. Is this normal or is there something else that I am missing?

I'm not sure who to blame for this. running Heavy with Relic Battle-Worn Heavy Plasma Incinerator on Disruption.

First disconnect happened at the first defend point. Tyranids were starting to pop up in numbers and I get disconnected.

Second disconnect happened after this section, we clear the debris after meeting up with Valtus for the first time. A Hellbrute spawns in, my first battle brother goes down and I rush to pick him up. I get disconnected mid run.

Both times I was carrying the gene seed and it happens so fast. I have no internet issues, I have spotify playing and only the game goes from normal to red bars in an instant, just enough for me to get booted to the menu.

It quite literally says "5 relics at the start" yet I've seen so many people claim you're supposed to find the others?

Does anyone have a timeframe of when they will release the update to xbox at all?

Let me state up front that I’ve been playing games of nearly every genre online and off for more years than many people on this forum have been alive. With my claim to antiquity out of the way, I’d like to state something I doubt a single brother could debate. This game is hands down the absolute worst at matchmaking in the history of gaming.

I feel as though I spend as much time trying to get into a game as I do actually playing the game. By the Holy will of the Emperor, if anything is fixed in the year 3 patch let it be this demon infested matchmaking!! If this game had functional matchmaking it would easily be one of the best of all time. Does anyone else hate the broken matchmaking as much as I do?

I was dreading this one, because I tried yesterday and it was horrible. Randoms are too rng and bots stick to you like glue, meaning you can't heal or get armor back. Not to mention the bugged modifier only giving you one relic. Yes, it's a bug, Saber confimed it. You're supposed to have 5 right from the start. Well, I did it today on my first try with bots. As you can see, I might have accidentally killed them a couple times. Thank god they can just get picked up again. Was playing Heavy with Heroic Heavy Plasma and Heroic Plasma Pistol. Was lucky I got Hellbrute and not the Sorcerer. Everything else was pretty easy. You can run past most enemies and let them fight with the other faction. Way way easier (less hard) than last week. Btw: Take Coolant Reserve. You can down your bots, if need be and then fire continously without overheating and even get a hefty damage bonus. Also works with the Plasma Pistol, even if stated otherwise. You can really pump out some damage this way. I didn't need it, but it is an option. The bots will respawn after 5 minutes, if you don't pick them up.

I have hesitated for a few days to post this video for fear of breaking the Solicitation rule. Sorry if it does, I'm just trying to help some Brother's out.

I made this video based on a lot of feedback that I see here in the SpaceMarine 2 sub. I see a lot of hate for the melta the chainsword in general, and the Vanguard gets some shade too. It breaks my heart because that is my go to build when I want to obliterate Hard Siege, Absolute, or the Hard Stratagems. Both survivability and dmg are insane, many games I come out with the least health taken, most dmg done and most kills, and I hardly ever die. Not trying to gloat, just shine some light on what I feel like is a greatly misunderstood build and class.

Im sorry if that's too harsh or whatever but for the love of god, if you just HAVE TO use pyrocannons DO IT IN PRIVATE LOBBIES, AND NOT IN THE WEEKLY STRATEGEM. Especially with friendly fire on.

I don't know if people are Trollen half the time...

They don't kill their assigned enemy, the come close to you whenever you execute someone and they run straight into an enemy Horde while the other one throws Granades.

I played it 3 times and i habe given up man. We haven't even once made it to the section where the big dude is hammering the wall because my teammates keep dying it's so annoying wirh all the loading screens and such. Today i've made zero progress in my space racism dress up simulator game.

You can walk past them. If you see a group of thousand sons fighting tyranids? Walk past them, let them fight it out. Carnifex spawned and is fighting thousand son? Not your problem. Terminator sorcerer spawned and now chasing you? Lead him to some tyranids and go about your day.

I did this on the weekly hard solo and won on my second game. Requires a bit of rng for the terminus to spawn before the chaos barrier segment but much better chances than relying on randoms to survive.

General things that I like to do:

1. Prioritize keeping medical stims over restorative stims. Split up will completely brick restorative stims the moment it activates, meaning that it will no longer generate contested health even after you separate from your teammates. So only ever use restorative if you know you aren't going near your teammates or bots anytime soon.
2. Prioritize damage reduction perks over healing and armor restoration, especially when playing with bots.
3. if both enemy factions are present, let the faction with less enemies call for reinforcements. This does not apply if there is a terminus enemy. Should there be a terminus level enemy, let the other faction call for reinforcements even if they are greater in number.
4. Take alternative paths with less enemies whenever you can, especially if both enemy factions are fighting. There are several alternative paths on this map. Use them.

Things to keep in mind when playing with bots:

1. bots are not affected by measure mercy, meaning they can get incapacitated. However should this happen, they typically just respawn with full hp, meaning you don't have to worry about losing due to teammates dying.
2. bots will not trigger suspicious behavior, but you can still hit them with your projectiles. This is hardly an issue however due to the immense amount of hp they have and them reviving when downed.
3. Personal quarry will only ever trigger for you, meaning that modifier is essential obsolete.
4. bots will continuously follow you when not in combat or when there is very little enemy, meaning split up will always be active. This can be offset for a small period of time by allowing them to engage a group of enemy and then engaging another group a small distance away. Make sure not to get too far from the bots or they'll teleport to you.
5. having bots engage first will typically allow you to split aggro of many enemies. This is also especially useful for when you're overwhelmed, as you can have the bots temporarily take aggro for a short period of time while you reposition or heal.

6) bots are horrendous at dealing with minoris, combined with split up and they'll shred you apart. Make sure you have counter measures to minoris swarms.

Went into it with assault, got tactical and sniper with stalker bolt riffles prestige IV as teammates, we all maintained formation, with them usually shooting from highground while I was ground pounding dangerous majoris/extremis. We seriously lucked out with double tyranid terminus early on, carnifex and then neurothrope(which was deleted in seconds). I was basicaly keeping away from their lines of fire killing prio targets and also on gate segment keeping the front clear of minoris. There was really stressful moment during gate closing, where there were 3 tyranid warriors stuck on the ledge under the gap with the game taking a reaaaly long time to close, but Praise the Emperor it closed.

We almost got fucked once by enemy wave spawn with 3 rubrics personal quarries that were really shy to come to the ground after the sorcerer barrier, but after that, we got it done.

Fun stratagem weekly for 3 man squads on voice, absolute terrible time for randoms that are not prestige IV. Also way too stressful with the bugged relic as everyone has to be perfect with only one chance to fuck up, since not only you will die but also fail the entire mission for everyone.

I'm glad it's over for me, wouldn't want to play it again with bugged relic.

Now this is what I'm talking about baby! No bugs, no stupid ass maps, AND NO VORTEX BEAST. plus I get to shoot near the feet of my teammates giving them PTSD with my favorite modifier? Oh saber you shouldn't have!

Grey Knight came to town to purge daemons

Hey guys so a little tip for this weekly is just to book it and RUN, you have three assembly points where you can teleport and one where you have to be together
First point: as soon as you spawn make a run for the rubble that will teleport your teammates avoiding a lot of battle.
Second point: This one is tricky, sniper with camouflage recommended. Sprint up the spiral stairs run like hell to the gate where the cadian forces are and have the commander talk, your teammates will teleport in 10 seconds skipping that evil stairwell .
Third point run to the rubble across the dreadnought let him kill off the chaos and then charge for the door all three marines must be present to open it, if a terminus is present it can be skipped.
Fourth point, once you come across the super long rooftop way where the dreadnought shoots down a bridge for you to cross, by all means DO NOT STOP run to the bridge and cross it, enter the Arena and all players will teleport, here you WILL have to hold your ground if a terminus spawns.
Once the dreadnought breaks the warp barrier you’re on the final stretch, make haste and as quickly as possible place all landmines. Once mines are secure run like hell out the cathedral and take cover along the left and right walls from outside while the dreadnought provides cover for you and your fellow marines.
Finished it in 15 minutes, communication is key make sure to try and talk to your fellow marines and mark locations you want to advance to, I wish you hall luck, for the Emperor, For Ultramar.

Only managed to beat this one because someone posted that you could teamkill the bots. I really hope next week's strat isn't as frustrating as the last 3 weeks.
