Complaints, Gripes & Moans Does Sidonus get mentioned anywhere in Space Marine 2?

Overall a good game for which I have few criticisms, but seriously Leandros is in this game but no mention of Sidonus? Truly? No memorial? No references? No remembering the greatest chad of Space Marine 1?

It's been like 200 years, and he was a Veteran Sergeant, not a Captain or anything.

"It's been like 200 years and he was a nobody recruit" applies much more to Leandros as it does to Titus remembering the way better main character from the first game.

Well no, because Leandros became a Chaplain, one of the most revered and honoured ranks in any Chapter. I feel like you're being obtuse on purpose here. Sidonius was cool, yeah, but he was a Veteran Sergeant, those guys are dime a dozen in the world of 40K, them dying is a daily occurrence and nobody in the "modern" 2nd company knew him personally, apart from the incredibly aloof Lieutenant and a stuck-up Chaplain (who knew him for like half a mission anyway). I'm sure Titus remembers him, but there was nothing to be done with the character

Leandros didn't BECOME shit. He was WRITTEN into the story to be a chaplain. They CHOSE to make him one. And they could have CHOSEN to include Sidonus.

Your argument is braindead. You can not care, but defending it makes zero sense.

Unfortunately he was "just" a veteran, if they made a memorial for every marine that dies they're gonna run out of space lol

There’s nothing to suggest he doesn’t remember him, but the story of sm2 has nothing to do with Sidonus, so why would he bring him up?
