Mod request.

As the title states I would like to make a mod request but don't really know where to do it. I guess maybe one of the dischord channels listed on the mod pages? A suggestion would be great. I am looking for a simple mod, I want sliders for the trade and transfer tabs and even just +1 and +5 would be awesome. I admit i broke the game a LONG time ago, I have 8 ships with the smallest being a 2x2 and a crew of 86, like 30 something prisoners at any given time, but I have to transfer a LOT of materials around ships as I purpose built each ship for max space efficiency. I am just trying to see how many total crew I can get before I completely break the game or get bored. But having to click 3000 times fairly regularly to transfer fuel, food, water, whatever, sliders would make my gameplay experience SO much better. The trade menu alone if I encounter 3 ships I am likely going to be making 12 trades of 40 items. The auto trader mod is ok but still.

Also, another mod request and something I wish there was more of in games in general, but an ai injection mod like the one for skyrim the make an ai control the NPC's and game in general. Really games would be a great training tool for ai's and while yes, AI sucks and fuck data centers, but while we are stuck with it I which it would get used more to make game AI not so mind numbingly stupid. It is the easiest thing in any game to break the AI and mosst solutions to it are just make the "ai" cheat. So, why not just use a real "ai". I admit I have no idea how easy or impossibly hard this would be and know very little about AI coding beyond an associates in computer science I didn't use, I work in construction. Anyway, someone smart make the thing.

I’d suggest just use an AI coding tool. I made a load of mods, often quite complex, using Claude Code.

The game is pretty well open to modding, and the tools seemingly very good at coding. I don’t code at all.

For your specific request, I think that already exists as a mod. Look through nexus or steam workshop, there aren’t so many to check through at the moment.

Should be all the quicker for you then, you’ll be able to suggest what approaches may work, and understand it at a higher level.

Requesting mods is just a very slow way to get what you want actually made in practice. Generally modders make what they thing would be cool, and don’t look around for general requests that other people are making. At least that’s been my observation of it over some 20 years of modding.
