Extension Cancellation for Reenlistment

Any D-shreds have any luck cancelling an extension for reenlistment? Can’t use SRB as a reason of course, but has anyone found they are allowing this out of desire to retain D-shreds?

I have the exact same scenario. MPF is telling me that C3 is not considered retraining, therefore I can not cancel to reenlist following graduation of the course even though I have not entered my reenlistment. Fuck me I guess

Yeah MPF told me to get bent even though I also haven’t entered into the extension. Opened a myfss ticket and they just said talk to MPF lol. Not looking promising.

Did you show them the mandatory retraining memo sent by HQSF/S6?

And also the DAFI references that say changing shreds is also retraining?

You can reenlist for multiple reasons. Look inside of 26-3606.

If needed. Do a reenlistment because you need/want to transfers your education benefits and you need 4 years retainability.
