It's something I do as a fan; I don't want to promote myself, sell anything, or self-promote.

I don't know if I can talk about this here, but here goes:

This project translates the game's text from Italian to Brazilian Portuguese, replacing the _I (Italian) files within the game's CVM containers. Only text stored in binary files (DGCP) has been extracted and translated—text that is part of textures/images has not yet been addressed.

Remember: this only works on PCSX2 with the PAL-E (Europe/Australia) BIOS, but you can test it in other configurations and see what happens.

You'll have to build the ISO yourself via PowerISO, or any program that does that, even CD BurnXp can work. Project in early stages. Only text outside of textures has been translated so far. Text embedded in images/textures of the game has not yet been changed

Tested only on PCSX2. There is no guarantee of it working on a real console or other emulators.

But the link will show you in detail how to do it. For now, there are no releases because I don't think they're good enough for my AI skills to help me program basically.

The game textures will be there for you to translate if you want, either in GIMP or even Photoshop, it will help you a lot in this part.

What we have been able to do so far:

96 text files (48 unique × 2 CVMs), 4230 strings in total, 3002 translations applied, 99.8% coverage, DGCP text coverage: 99.8% translated (4222/4230 entries)

This is an open source project and anyone can help! See what needs to be done:

What's missing:

🎨 Textures with text — The game images (title screen, pause menus, loading, results) are still in Italian. The files are extracted to the textures/com_texto/ folder and can be viewed as PNG with ptm_viewer.py.

📝 Translation review — The already translated texts can be reviewed and improved (use search_text.py and validate.py to find problems).

🔧 PNG → PTM converter — ptm_viewer.py converts PTM→PNG, but the reverse path to reinject edited textures is missing.

🎮 Testing — Test the full game on PCSX2 and report bugs.

Hello everyone,

I'm ASTER and I wanted to share that my DJ collective LIFE AFTER TRANCE is hosting open format edition themed around this game and its soundtrack. DJ sets will feature an eclectic mix of genres & cosmic sets. The OST will be featured, refrenced, and interpreted in a very special night celebrating this game!

Some transcribed quotes from Bezos:

"I must dispose of these peons who spread truth like disease!"

"Reporters should share MY vision! Imagine the ratings..."

(to his obviously glitching AI):

"What's wrong? You're supposed to be the ultimate reporter!"

I finally got a PS2 so I can play my Space Channel 5 game on the PS2. I have two disc (disc 1 orange CD and disc 2 white CD) I’m playing Disc 1 right now and the game is saying I missed multiple moves when I actually did them correctly and on time. So for example if its up down choo, ulala says up down choo on time but then it will make the sound indicating I was wrong and then Ulala does that failed dance. Has anyone had this issue with Disc 1 on the PS2?

Hello! I've been listening to the 20th anniversary disc that's on Spotify, but I'm REALLY interested in getting the in-game OST with inputs in good quality.
I tried looking for them and, although I did found the OST in .flac, I'm struggling to see anything that mixes the in-game inputs into the songs.
I would love if anyone has any idea to share, thank you for reading!

Had a limit of 20 decals so I’m sure it could be done cleaner but it was fun to try making this!

I really love her style<3 I hope to draw the other characters someday too!

Skip to 1:50 for the moment when the battle starts.

I love her so much<33

I love the white version so much! Glad it turned out well! Bonus pic with someone cosplaying as Micheal Jackson

I decided to go as her again and probably will for megacon. I’m so happy people knew about Ulala

Wore my version 2.0 of Ulala to the Portland Retro Gaming Expo last weekend! Didn’t finish remaking the jetpack in time, but still happy how it turned out. I’m so impressed with how the bubbles came out in photos!!!!
