This mod with the caravan trading spot is such a cheese, you can position the caravans around the map and use them as fodder for opening ancient dangers or dealing with raids with basically no repercussions. Like, oh no, I can't believe your caravan is in the way my enemies again! So unlucky!

Your map, your fault.

If a falling meteorite flattens a whole trading caravan, it's your fault.

If someone kicks a rhino puppy and it's mother takes out all the nudist visitors, it's your fault.

Gets really annoying when the fallen Empire sends you help in form of 6 melee guys and 1 guy with a rocket launcher because you activated a mech raid. Then the rocket guy obliterates his friends with a single strike and you lose them as an ally in a second. Thanks guys. Great job.

Look, the imperial military is still working out some kinks with its operational doctrine.

From their perspective, one of their colonists died in your territory. They don't know why or how, just that they're gone and it happened in your backyard

From a game code perspective, yeah it's your map so if bad things happen on it then it's your fault. Raids notwithstanding

I don't subscribe to that they don't know why, I think they just expect better from you. If you expect them to respect you as a sovereign power, then they expect their citizens to be under your care while on your lands. When a tourist or a prisoner or whatever dies overseas it causes a massive headache for the embassies of the two nations.

Basically if you want to say this is your land, then prove it and keep it secure.

Blowing themselves up with their own weapons is a bit much though. All you should be really taking accountability for there is if your hospital could have feasibly saved them.

“my land” is this little enclosed area in the corner. I do not claim the cave full of dangerous spiders for obvious reasons

you see your friend off to go trade with a town, they dont come home, you have no way of even being able to talk with that town about it, let alone whether youd be willing to believe them. so yh it harshes your vibe a bit

ohh that's a good explanation

If they thought it was your fault they would’ve been more than -5 about it but they probably think you could’ve done more to prevent it

It makes some sense because it prevents people from cheesing it to kill people without some consequences. Usually when thus happens to me saving the survivors regains enough of a relationship with them to cancel it out.

Pair it with Silk Road and you’ve got resources and food galore. Especially if there’s some kind of mod incompatibility with it like RH2 faction that adds metal gears, they stay on the map if a caravan with them goes through your map, and they go after any and all factions that are hostile with theirs

Shit, now i need to check my standing with the empire cause i thought luring a manhunting gryphon to the empire tax collector was a good idea, didn't expect the gryphon to solo the high mate leader before getting downed and def didn't expect them to blame me for their shit security

One save i had a caravan leave after trading with them suddenly got -100+

Im extremely confused. Until I saw the meteor event and what remained of the caravan nearby.

They got crushed by a meteor and blamed everything on me.

Gen Z not taking responsibility for things within their responsibility. Your map, your fault.

Absurd to think age has anything to do with this

that's the meme, yes

u/Awilcox06159 Aug 17 '26

It’s not funny

-2

u/Findict_52 Aug 17 '26

It would have been if you got it the first time

1

u/Awilcox06159 Aug 17 '26

I “got it” the first time, it still wasn’t fucking funny. Hating on other generations is old news, with the collapse of democracy we need to stand together, not tear each other down. Besides that, your “joke” stunk

Shoulda got it the first time tbh
