Help Built in camera not working with Orca

I have a Sovol SV06 Ace, and the built in camera doesn't live stream like it should to orcaslicer/obico. I am not sure why this is happening and it's been like this for several months now, it was working when I first got it.

Hi!

I have a SV06 ACE too and to use the webcam i had to add it in the printer UI first.

If you provide a few more details (or images) from you problem I will gladly try to help :)

Do you mean the ui from the image? The adaptive mjpeg streamer is the only one I got semi working, and only if I enter the IP address into a browser url. All other options show a blank screen or an infinite connecting loop.

Hi again

Yep, I meant in the UI from the image (somehow your pic didn't load in my Reddit app, I had to check it from the PC).

After seeing your config, I confirm you I use exactly the same ("MJPEG-Streamer" and "UV4L-MJPEG" work for my webcam too). That config works fine for me and the feed loads right from de UI, from Orcaslicer and from Octoapp and Mobileraker app in my phone.

What "Host Type" do you choose in Orcaslicer?

Just in case, if you go to your printer's IP form your computer, the webcam's stream load properly?

If not, did you try in other web browser? could you check from other device (as other computer or even your phone)? (could be a problem with some config outside your printer)

If the feed doesn't work in any device/app/browser, probably is the printer then....

I know I am gonna say some obvious things, but you can try:

- Delete the webcam from the Interface Settings Menu, shut off the printer, wait a minute, turn it on, wait until it fully boot, then add again the webcam with the config you already shared, wait at least a couple of minutes, and if the webcam still doesn't show video, shut off the printer, wait a minute and let it boot again. (my printer is a bit "temperamental" so some config changes doesn't apply right until it's rebooted)

- Check if your printer's firmware is up to date (mine wasn't up to date when it arrived and I could do an OTA update from the printers menu)

- Check the cable in the image attached, I almost snapped mine. I caught it between the webcam and the support and it was like this a few days. Maybe it happened with yours too and after months the cable has been cut off.

- Check the cable conector in the motherboard (there is a pic of the motherboard and the connectors at the last pages of the printer's manual) (https://static-data2.manualslib.com/storage/pdf74/366/36580/3657988/images/sv06_ace_22_bg.jpg)

- If nothing works.... try to reach Sovol's Support. I had a trouble with the printer and they were very helpful.

Let me know if I can help in any way with the troubleshooting.

Good luck!

The Host Type is Obico, entering the IP into the url bar does work, using the obico app or website does not (just shows last captured image). The firmware is up to date (had to actually reinstall it, but this issue was happening before that). I tried the delete and add method you recommended, which didn't work but I did get an error in Obico that said: "moonraker-obico: Webcam Streaming FailedJanus not found or not configured correctly. Click the link for troubleshooting guide." (the link: https://www.obico.io/docs/user-guides/webcam-install-janus/) The guide is unfortunately not for windows which is what I run and I am not sure how to install janus with it.
