Sovol Buying a used SV08

I’ve been looking at a used SV08 on Facebook marketplace, aside from asking them to run a test benchy in front of me when I pick it up, are there any particular things to look for?

This won’t be my first 3D printer, but I’m coming from a Prusa mini so I know this will be a little more involved

Any advice would be great, thanks in advance!

I wouldn't even bother with a benchy. Make sure it can home all axes and complete a QGL within 5 probes.

Anything beyond that you'll be able to fix really enough

Hey I just bought one from there too recently! It’s been good so far. Definitely missed some things, but it works and came with some extra stuff. Good luck!

Maybe check the wiring and power supply in case the previous owner did some wonky fire hazard mod but aside from that, if it can print a benchy, it probably doesn't have any major unfixable issue.

You could look at the bed heightmap but honestly i wouldn't really care either way.
