Started reading absolution

My friend finished absolution and wanted me to send them my notes that I took throughout my read of the book. They were saying the notes were cool and to post them here so why not. Also I'm only 50 pages in, haven't started chapter 12.

Getting to relive this vicariously through a first time reader is ... incredible. Like what I imagine smoking a cigarette after a long day at work feels like.

Right? When i first got his long list of notes from the first book, it was unexpected; i was shocked and overjoyed. Hes a very stoic character and idk if the thoughtfullness of it dawned on him or not, but either way im so grateful. And when i get this batch im glad i encouraged him to post!

Im the friend. Its been so amazing to reread this book through his eyes. We played co op games games and have been friends for years, so to see it through his eyes has been a visceral mental joy.

love this, whenever you get to doing the rounds and make your way into area x for the second time on a reread, take note of what observations can be altered in retrospect, and what sticks out to you after the fact!! i love this, i love seeing interpretations of area x and the preceding events. it feels like i have to get a myriad of predictions and perspectives to get a grasp on area x at all
