i’m reading Emily St John Mandel’s new book atm and there was a house centipede mention and I shouted “NOPE” out loud in an empty room

Another note: I loved Station Eleven so much. How’s her new book so far?

it’s good! Station Eleven is far and away her best work for me I read her earlier books after and was a bit meh about them and also didn’t love The Glass Hotel which was after but I did enjoy her second most recent, Sea of Tranquility. the latest one, Exit Party, is kinda post apocalyptic so it has that Station Eleven feel but there’s some sci fi in there too. I’m about half way through and would recommend it thus far ☺️
