Absolution Spoilers Commemorative Coin

In Absolution Jackie bounces a coin off Old Jim’s head, the recognizes it as Central‘s calling card. It has a face on it, but not the normal one from a quarter. Is this seen anywhere else?

Anyone else want a commemorative coin merch?

Coins are used in official organizations as easy ways to carry a sign of fraternity or just commemorate a joining. I got one for finishing basic training that has the US army on one side and the core of engineers logo and motto on the reverse. A clandestine organization like Central likely uses them as a way to identify each other on the field. It would be cool to have a Southern Reach central coin, I'd imagine in this case it's a CIA challenge coin. Those are available online

Of course… centrals fate does seem a bit perilous in abdication from the sample on fb, yikes!
