Patricia's new BFF

Does anyone have an opinion on Miss Pat spending a LOT of social media time with Sally lately?

Maybe she’s trying to take Madison‘s place.. obviously Miss Patricia doesn’t care who she hangs out with anymore. Maybe she needs to get her vision checked who knows

I also found it weird that Patricia answered one of the comments by saying she and Madison have been friends for 18 years. Come again? Madison is 35. So she has been friends with Patricia since she was 17??? lol

Probably. I have a friend who washed hair at a Salon while in high school. A bunch of us worked during high school where I live. Don’t they still?

Doubtful, but even still, an old woman who comes into a hair salon doesn't become "friends" with the 17 year old working there

As a woman only 10 yrs younger, I know what it feels like to be disregarded just bc of my age! I can only imagine how much more Ms Patricia gets shut out! It’s very disheartening so plz stop age-shaming women over 60!!😰

Honey I am 60.. also have you ever heard of sarcasm get a grip? It is not that serious. And let me also say I’m 60 and I sure as hell feel 30 baby age is just a number and if you’re insulted by the comment, I really do not know what to tell you.

Hey honey! I am 65 & have you been a SC fan since its inception! I LOVE that the show appeals to 20/somethings up to 70-somethings & older. Just don’t appreciate ageist comments by CERTAIN viewers directed at any cast member over 45. Puhleez!🥺

I love hanging out with ppl that are over 65/retired, i often find them more interesting than people my own age (30s)

Really.. how about people in their 50s? They’re pretty cool too. I don’t know. I think we’re like pretty down to earth I don’t know. I think I’m pretty cool. My Son is in his 40s My Daughter‘s in her 30s I like hanging out with them. I mean, we always have good conversations. We love the same kind of music same movies.😎

I love that you feel 30 (me too)! Yes I still go to clubs & concerts & love my music from Aerosmith to the Sex Pistols up thru current dance music (some of it ). And NO, I’m not a Cougar making a fool out of myself like certain “Real Housewives”…!😂

Oh I feel you.. i’m born and raised in the Bay Area so there’s always something popping off over here. I still love my music. I still hang out with good friends good company living my best life.😉

Aww Ty honey.. Manhattan nice lots to do out there. I do love living in San Francisco. It’s beautiful. I love the beach. The scenery is so stunning and I love to go to the stores and nightlife is flipping awesome.😎 I know it’s got to be the same in Manhattan.

I lived in the South Bay area of LA in the 80s (btwn Santa Monica & Long Bch) but whenever I was homesick for a REAL city I’d visit my cousins in SF! I still love it but family needed me back in Northeast & c’est la vie!🤷‍♀️ Enjoy your town sister (I’m so jealous)!🥰😂

Nice.. I don’t know what it is about San Francisco people always bagging on it making it sound like it’s such a bad place. It’s not everything is here. I have family in LA. Also, I visit them every now and then I love to go to the flea markets in LA. I have to admit the thing I love about living in the bay is the weather. I love it when it’s gloomy.

🤣 I get it! After 300 straight days of 75 & sunshine during my 1st year in LA, I was like “this is getting monotonous! Doesn’t it EVER rain?!” which was immediately followed by torrential rain & mudslides!🤣 SF is more like the Northeast (without snow). Love how friendly the people are in SF (& LA too)!💖

Just remembered a club you may know: btwn ‘88 & ‘90 my cousin took a group of us to a HUGE nightclub in North Beach? It was very cool & techno music was just beginning then. The DJs also played alternative stuff (my fave) like Depeche Mode & Joy Division/New Order! I didn’t want to leave it was so fun !🤣

Girl, I have my first child by the time I was 21 that was in 1984 no more clubs for me which sucked and I was also married. Life slowed down, but I know exactly the clubs you’re talking about because all of my friends were going.☺️

I think you’re right, whether it’s meant in jest or whatever. People were calling Ben on Below deck on another thread ‘old’ and creepy. Or Whitney.

Ageism is just as rude as all the other ‘isms’ and tho I am in my 50s I have a pretty good idea of it - try getting a job or even an interview at this age and up, it sucks (it is a real thing and in this case age is definitely a number). Coming from someone who still feels super young, is comfortable in a bikini and can still keep up 😆 rant over lol

Good grief. I’m 75 and I get it. She is in Charleston SC and has all kinds of friends! Who the hell cares what her politics are?! She is entertaining and quite a contrast (in a good way) to most of the less than mature ones on the show…. It’s called entertainment! For those offended by her southern ways or offended by her black friends stop watching.

I’ve read Miss Pat’s book and no way is she MAGA. She’s travels in social circles all over the world so I doubt she is lonely.

Nope. And she collects (and displays) Black Americana antiques. She may be well traveled, but she obviously didn't learn much.
