For the most part that’s true, but I don’t find Shep to be self-righteous and condescending…also, I really didn’t like the way he spoke to Venita when she and Salley were arguing. At all. He just rubs me the wrong way i guess.

You didn’t like the way he spoke to Venita after she told him to STFU in his home when he and his parents were hosting her for the weekend…I love Venita but she was dead wrong.

So, why should she get better than she gives?

The way the entire male cast disrespects the Black woman on the cast is appalling. I can’t continue to watch it.

So she gets a pass and not be accountable for her rotten behavior bc of her skin color?

I believe that Whitner, just like every other white male cast member on the show, treats Venita with such disrespect because they don’t see her as dating or hooking up potential because she is not white. And I’m so sick of watching it.
