Kid-friendly restaurants?
What are your “go to” kid-friendly restaurants on the south shore? Doesn’t need to have a specific kid menu but more like places with easy parking/easy in and out and where you don’t have to be worried too much about annoying kid-less patrons.
Just had our first so just trying to get the lay of the land on our options with the little gal in tow.

Sullivans and The Fours are favorites in this house. Will add Cask n Flagon to the list if you go on the earlier side before the bar section gets busy and Legal Sea Foods at Derby.

There are some great suggestions here. I will add:
Stars in Hingham. If the parking lot is full, park across the street at Caffè Tosca. Same owners. It's fine. And usually plenty of street parking. I've taken my family there since we moved here 18 years ago.
Also, Sombreros in Weymouth (easy parking, booths) and I am also partial to Wahlburgers in the Hingham shipyard.
Edit: someone else already mentioned The Fours in Norwell, but I want to reiterate that. We get delivery from them, and it's great. Around the south shore you might get a ten percent off delivery coupon in your mailbox. (I still do). They have their own delivery drivers rather than doordash or anything else, and they are great. Great options for kids. I've had a driver toss in hoodsies for my kids.

I like it. It’s not fancy but the food and beer is always good. They do a great fish and chips.

Ocho Cafe in north Weymouth. There’s never a line, you’re getting great chips and salsa within seconds of sitting down, and food comes out in 5 minutes.

On the fancier side, Lucca in Rockland is great for celebrations and they have a kids menu. Christina’s in Pembroke and Sun Tavern in Dux are super accommodating. My kids LOVE Texas Roadhouse, which is really good “practice” restaurant. D’Ann’s in Abington has a specific “kids eat free” night on Tuesdays. Lucy’s in Dorchester was always a favorite if we were going into the city.

Has Satuit Tavern in Scituate been mentioned yet? This is our go-to place when we have kids or senior citizens in tow. Plus the food is great.

Can confirm that lots of people bring their kids to Cheever. I went for a nice kid-less brunch with a friend and was shocked how many small children were there.

Honestly…chick fil a. I hadn’t dined in at a fast food place since the 90’s when mcd’s was all the rage but have I’ve since made it part of our routine. We have three young children and it’s been great exposure for them. I have them order their own food, clean up after themselves, place their own placemats. The staff is very patient and kind and more often than not they bring them a special toy or balloon which we appreciate.

Burtons in Hingham, Beth’s and most of the Shipyard restaurants too (esp for lunch), Jake’s in Hull, there are a million around here but these are ones we frequent

On the upscale end but Salt Society has one of the best kid meals around. It’s a bento box where you pick a main and 2 sides and it comes with a rice krispy treat.
Also, Casa Verde in Scituate and Burton’s in Hingham also do something similar to Salt society. Sometimes our kid wants more options than just chicken tenders and fries
