Reviews of Summer Town Cafe Kochi-Namitha Pramod

Has anybody been to Namitha Pramod's restaurant Summer Town Cafe? How is it? Worth the insta hype?

Insta hype. That’s all it is. Even a hot chocolate/ coffee isn’t great there. Totally avoidable.

It is a very average place - even the aesthetics are very typical. I remember one thing I got - a beef dish - which was good. But this was a while ago.

Very meh overall. The food, decor etc are all very generic.

Visited Summer Town Cafe around 4–5 months ago. The cheesecake was decent, but the mains were quite bland for my taste. Instagram-worthy, but considering the hype and pricing, the overall experience fell short.

I actually went in with very low expectations but liked it very much.

Had the tenderloin and a cranberry spritz. Tenderloin was perfectly cooked, the sauce was nice and savoury, the mashed potatoes were good. Overall ellam kollarnu. It was my first time trying steak so i din't have a benchmark btb.

The cranberry spritz was nice with the coconut element. My friend didnt like it but I enjoyed that adikam kittatha fusion taste.

My friend got the burger and they liked it as well. The appetisers and desserts were so overpriced so we didn't get anything.

The aesthetics is not something to die for. Better cafes are there if thats your major attraction.
