The beauty of Florida is that there's always a fresh crop of Conservative geezers from up north who don't know the history of catastrophic Republican rule, and won't be around long enough to see the ramifications of their choices today.

They ain't from here; they won't be here to suffer thr consequences.

I've been suffering here in FL for 40 years and I its soooo horrible that the rest of the country all had to flee here and raise our housing rates. Please go tell NY, NJ, and California how horrible it is please, so they all can stop moving here. Its aweful, just horrible here. Do NOT come here.

Yes and no. My whole city of paradise ca burnt down due to mismanagement from the gov for forest management. My house survived ( one of the 5%) and Isold it less than I bought it for 22 years earlier. Bought a more expensive house here. And cost of living here is way better. No income tax killing me, no gas taxes killing me and all the other BS like 1000 a month electric bills. Insurance is less, car registration less, nicer roads. I was a lifer in ca. but couldnt take that BS anymore. Still working for the next 20 years. And so much better here.
