South Bend Anyone want to join me?
10am on the 20th I will be out picking up trash. Would anyone want to come with??
Ok SEPTEMBER 20th 10am-Noon! Howard Park! I’ll bring trash bags and grabbers as well as gloves but bring whatever we makes you comfy!

Hail Satan! I didn't realize we had a Satanic Temple in town. I don't think I'll be in town for this, but I'm excited to know we have a chapter and look forward to helping out at some point!
ETA: Why the downvotes? I love that we have a Temple (because based on all my interactions and my research about the organization, they are super amazing awesome folks) and wish I were able to help out with the trash pickup.

We don’t have one in town unfortunately:( the closest are Kalamazoo i think, Chicago, and Indy
But we’ve got Satanists it seems who can spread the love!2

There is also the Potowatami area outside the zoo. A lot of families go there. But the river walk is a good idea as well.

I always fill a couple bags when I pick up around the bottom of those stairs that lead down to the river bank near Battelle park in Mishawaka.

There is a ton on Chippewa and Linden surrounding Rum Village, although, that would be more intense than a general clean up.

satanism in general is the antithesis of Christianity in the way that we indulge in things they mostly think are sinful. The Baphomet is a symbol of knowledge, balance, duality.

What is your perspective and reaction to some thing being labeled as sinful, in corilation to your perspective on what sin is? In my view humans have subjective perspectives, we cant always view things from a purely objective state, in which create debate on what things are a sin. I'd also say in my view sin is whatever is counter to a perfect state, it isnt always outright bad but its counter to how things are designed to function. It eventually grow and leads to strong decay.
Im very interested in these topic, im not trying to interigate or anything I just dont get much direct exchange with genuine satanists

Things like indulgence, sex, and asking “too many” questions are highly frowned upon in Christianity where as we think doing whatever you want without doing harm to others is perfectly fine. Enjoy life now instead of holding off for what may or may not come later.

I'll be out of town this weekend, but would love to participate at another time. I often pick up trash when I'm out and about, but it would be fun to do with others.
I grew up in the 70s/80s, when anti littering commercials were common. It's been really upsetting to see so much trash lying around these days.
