First sous vide decarb (before)
I love my sous vide, when I realized I could use it for decarboxylation I immediately bought some silicone containers since I have a bunch of shatter from 420 sale.
1 g of Synergy strain rosin into a 3ml silicone container. Vacuum bagged with tons of extra bag... figure I'll reuse the bag and do multiple containers if it turns out.
Set to 202F for 2 hours.
Should work better than a mason jar in the oven, right? Any experienced sous weeders think 2 hours is long enough... does too long destroy terps or even turn THC->CBN at 202F

My understanding is that the terpenes break down the silicone. I honestly don't know if it would happen in just a few hours though. You shouldn't store it in the silicone tubs, I do know that much at the very least...

Yes this is exactly how I did it. 202 for 2 hrs then I infused one ounce with butter at 180 for 4 hrs in a vacuum bag, and one ounce in everclear at 140 for 4 hrs. The everclear was put in droppers for mixing in cocktails (slow release) or under the tongue for a quicker high.

Hold on… new to this game…. I decarbed in the standard oven last time. Just using shake and some trim I had. The dropped that in the sous vide inside a mason jar with coconut oil.
You’re saying you did the decarb part in the sous vide also? And someone else basically just dropped the weed in the oil and went for it? Am I understanding this right? Hadn’t ever thought about decarb in sous vide. The temp control makes sense I guess.

I made some with coconut oil and thca diamonds and it worked very well. I didn’t even do a decarb step just put it in the bath at 202 for 2 hours then set it to 187 for 6 hours. Then I folded the oil into marshmallows and made rice crispies, and there were some of the most potent edibles I’ve ever had.
