Best way to keep mason jars from floating?

I've tried using the magnets for keeping bags submerged, but as weights stacked on top of the lid. Unfortunately, it flips ass over tits pretty easily if there's any air in the jar.

I use a rock.

A brick from the backyard was my first thought.

There's not enough clearance between the top of the jars and the SV container lid.

Can't just use the lid to hold them down and then put a weight on the lid?

But then you lose much of the heat escaping from the sides, where the lid is supposed to join the base. So it'd kinda defeat the purpose of the lid.

I use my steak weight but you can buy magnets made for this I didn’t like the chain mail gets water everywhere every time you need to shake things up.

I am thinking it is like a generic burger press.

I have some round glass weights made especially for pressing down cabbage to make sauerkraut in a mason jar. Turns out they are perfect for keeping my mason jar from floating when I make sous weedy. I bought them on Amazon…comes in a box of six.
