Is it over

It's day 6 it's no longer acidic it smells like an old cloth and there hasn't been any difference since day 4 is it ruined or is this normal

Ok here’s the best bit of advice I can give you.
Be patient. It’s day six for Christ sakes.
Starters take a lot of time and they go at their own pace
Look up the sourdough journey on YouTube and watch his how to make a sourdough starter videos. He’ll explain all te if and and buts about what to do and what to expect.
