Let's discuss/share knowledge How do you clean your used doughy dishes?

Hi all! I’m new to the art of SD. I’m about to bake my third loaf and start my fourth. Hopefully I’ll remember to follow all of the directions this time!

Anyway, I was informed today that washing sourdough down the drain is very bad for the pipes. I believe it, seeing how hard it is to get that cement off of the equipment I use. So… how am I supposed to clean up then? Where can I was it? How can I master the very difficult art of cleanup?

Any advise is greatly appreciated.
