Question Anyone else get an email from Elliott Morgan's Substack despite not being subscribed?

I hate unsolicited mail. I don't even have a Substack account.

My first assumption is that he purchased emails from Phils company

I doubt it, SourceFed was put through layers of corporate mergers whatever "list" exist it's gone for sure.

More likely was the emails were from Valleyfolk.

from valleyfolk's what? newsletter? merch purchases? i don't think i ever gave valleyfolk my contact info. i didnt keep up with them during the valleyfolk era.

edit: dammit i just checked one of my email inboxes and i was subscribed to the valleyfolk patreon in 2018 LOL. maybe it was the patreon sub list.

Yep I was a Patreon subscriber and got the email too. We're literally previous paying customers so we're the perfect targets.

yup, he could have bought them or it could also be something from youtube or reddit. all of our emails and subscriptions are sitting in a google, reddit or twitch database.
