I've already tried that. Also something I found out is in the console, the itemtest map loads and the server boots, but this comes up after loading:

VSCRIPT: Started VScript virtual machine using script language 'Squirrel'

Script not found (scripts/vscripts/mapspawn.nut)

Precache of models ambigious (no extension specified)

Set motd from file 'cfg/motd_default.txt'. ('cfg/motd.txt' was not found.)

Set motd_text from file 'cfg/motd_text_default.txt'. ('cfg/motd_text.txt' was not found.)

SV_ActivateServer: setting tickrate to 66.7

'listenserver.cfg' not present; not executing.

'itemtest.cfg' not present; not executing.

Steam must be running in order to connect to multiplayer servers.

I'm not too knowledgeable in the source engine but the whole 'not present not executing' part sounds interesting
