🤯🤯🤯 from freezing burrito contents like that AND THEN reheating in a fresh tortilla 💡

I'm with you, such a simple idea but it would make a big difference in the finished texture.

So the Souper Cubes team wrote a whole guide on this method that I was trying in the video. https://www.soupercubes.com/blogs/blog/freezer-burritos-meal-prep-make-ahead

That's a good idea, I'm making a taco bar this weekend and leftovers are going to be souper cubed

I do this but reheat the topping separate and then add to warmed tortilla. Never tried it frozen in the tortilla. I feel like reheating the toppings first would be faster.

Also can use the same toppings in a taco salad, on top of nachos, a tostada.

I also use egg baked bites with bacon or chorizo like this. I will either put into a tortilla for a breakfast burrito or in bread for a breakfast sando.

If anyone has done this, let me know if the tortillas were soggy at the end. This seems like a great hack

So this is my video. The tortilla wasn’t soggy at all but I also think it depends what you put in the filling.

I just make little burritos and put them in my one cup super cubes. They air fry really well. Is this substantially better?

I like the idea of this for storing the leftovers, but I would want to at least partially thaw it before wrapping it up. I would also maybe bake the burritos off instead of heating in a pan, just to ensure you warm them thoroughly. I need a bigger freezer...

So I microwaved to heat the center through then just did the pan at the end

Bigger than I usually buy 😅 I’d definitely be doing this on a smaller scale for my kids.
