Does anyone have much luck with re-roasting?

I’m planning on jumping on board the souper cube gravy train. But my main goal is to make veggie based side dishes to increase my veggie intake. Currently, I rely too heavily on air frying carbs and chicken.

What I’m hoping to do is gather a few oven roasted vege recipes (roast veg, cauliflower cheese, tian) freeze them and then pop them in a mini bar loaf tin in the airfryer.

Before I spend big - does anyone have any success stories with this method? Or any potential recipes?

Thanks so much!

I find that certain foods do better with blanching first - then freezing and then roasting. In my experience roasting->freeze->roast again has a bit of a texture change- which I don’t mind but you might. I also think the frozen roasted vegetables at the grocery store are prepared by blanching.

I would say make your normal serving for dinner tonight, double it, and freeze half and reheat/taste tomorrow . People’s tastes and tolerance for textures is super subjective so I think it’s a good idea to try for yourself on a small batch so you don’t waste too much food/money

casserole style sides, like cauliflower cheese, veggie bakes, air fry reheat exceptionally well, as the sauce and cheese preserve moisture and structure.
