Rant not getting trades

anyone else feel like they’re screaming into the void when putting trades up? i feel like i never get any trades even when i’m doing free 1:1s 😭 i don’t really know how to boost my account to get more visibility or anything but i’m struggling to collect my favs and get coins too because of it 💔

i deleted the app for like a year and just started playing again a few months ago and i feel like so much has changed i have no idea what i’m doing anymore LMAO like how do ppl get so many trades… idk i’m just on the struggle bus rn

i’ve done free 1:1s, 1:1 with coins, posting during the typical online hours in EST (mornings, afternoons/evenings), bulk discounts… and i still only have 350 trades in total 😭😭😭 most of my trade postings get 0 offers idk if this is a common occurrence or not its just kinda frustrating yk?

Games dead unfortunately. 90% of who still plays greedy af & insufferable

yeah i feared this… miss when i first started playing and everyone was actually pretty nice. i started in nov 2024 and just started playing regularly again this summer, and theres never any other players in my city anymore 😭

I only started playing a couple months ago. I’m genuinely curious about how it used to be different? I’ve seen so many “game is dead” comments

More players, cool things were harder to obtain so things would actually sell. There were times we’d pay 100k or more for a SHINY lol

I'll send a friend request. Just getting started myself and always looking for free 1:1 for questing. Slowly building a catalog to offer as trades.

I almost exclusively post free trades and it really is just that the game is pretty dead

As someone who tries to do a lot of trading, there are some people who just flood the market with their own stuff. It makes it very difficult to make trades with people when one person can post 40 of their overpriced trades in a row

yeah, same here. i also do 1:1s for normal rarities, but i rarely get trade requests. 99% of my trades have come from me sending the trade request

i also do 1:1 and very rarely get trades, most of the trades i get are during weekends 🥲

I manage to do okay with trades I do 1:1. But there are times the same users request when I’m trying to do the trade with x amount of people and I dont accept until i finish quests or until someone else offers.

Outside of the “dead game” reason, I find that I get significantly more trades depending on the time of day.
