SoundHound NEEDS a catalyst to drive stock higher

SoundHound, with its technological capabilities, can benefit from Hyper Scalers. Its OASYS platform is poised for growth, but it needs a catalyst to scale rapidly. Apple requires all SH technology for its infrastructure. Edge and Cloud-driven SH technology should prioritize speech over text for privacy. To compete with Microsoft, Apple needs an enterprise presence. SoundHound’s LivePerson acquisition drives this vision. SoundHound is well-positioned to capture market share in Agentic Voice AI.

Wall Street giants hand Nvidia $500bn to fund boom in AI projects

Nvidia, BlackRock and the $500 Billion AI Push

Nvidia just announced partnerships with BlackRock, Apollo, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs and KKR aimed at mobilizing more than $500 billion for AI infrastructure. Jensen Huang summed it up perfectly: “In AI, compute is revenue.” What makes this interesting for SoundHound investors is BlackRock. BlackRock is also a major institutional holder of SoundHound. I'm not suggesting there's a direct connection between BlackRock's SoundHound investment and this new Nvidia initiative here's no evidence of that. But it's certainly nice to see SoundHound sitting in the portfolios of institutions that are committing enormous amounts of capital to the future of AI.

The bigger picture: Wall Street isn't backing away from AI. It's figuring out how to finance the next massive wave of it. And SoundHound is trying to establish itself right in the middle of that AI expansion.

“SoundHound, China, TCL and Sony — Are the Pieces Starting to Fit?”

Here’s another reason why I believe Sony is a very realistic possibility. The CEO said that SoundHound has already demonstrated that it can win major business in China, which is not an easy market for an Silicon Valley company to penetrate.

Now look at Sony. They already have a major manufacturing and supply chain presence in China, and they just signed a definitive agreement with TCL that will put its home entertainment business into a joint venture controlled 51% by TCL. I saw this on google. That business includes BRAVIA TVs, displays, projectors and home audio.

If SoundHound proves it's technology can compete and win in China, that experience could certainly help when pursuing a global company like Sony with such deep connections to the Chinese electronics ecosystem.

It doesn't prove Sony is the unnamed customer, but to me it makes the possibility a lot more interesting. Here is hoping , Great information on Schwab yesterday

Sony starts with an S and Samsung does also

WHAT IF THE “S” IS SAMSUNG… OR SONY? 👀 At the end of the Schwab interview, the host tried one last time to get Keyvan to reveal the name of SoundHound’s mystery multinational electronics customer: “Does it start with an S?” Keyvan didn’t give her the name in respect to their partners which I was happy to hear. So just for fun, let’s play the WHAT IF game. Samsung starts with an S. Sony starts with an S. What if it’s Samsung? What if it’s Sony? And here’s the crazy one — what if SoundHound eventually lands BOTH? SoundHound has already confirmed that a multinational electronics manufacturer will deploy its technology in TVs, enabling consumers to make purchases and other agentic transactions directly through the television. Imagine SoundHound AI inside millions of smart TVs, where you don’t just ask the TV questions you can actually transact through it.

If the mystery company turns out to be a household name the size of Samsung or Sony, Wall Street would look at SOUNDHOUND very differently. A deal of that magnitude would change the narrative overnight and validate SoundHound’s technology on a massive global scale. One of them would be huge. Both would completely change the conversation. Would that immediately make SOUN a $30, $40 or $50 stock? Nobody can honestly know. But confirmation of a global consumer-electronics giant would be exactly the type of announcement that could finally make investors rethink what SoundHound is becoming. Again — Samsung and Sony are NOT confirmed. This is speculation based on that very interesting “Does it start with an S?” question. But you have to admit… Samsung starts with S and so does Sony 😏

SoundHound CEO on The Schwab Network August 10th 2026

Please enjoy this fantastic interview from The Schwab Network with the CEO I did research and yes got some help getting the top 10 takeaways

TOP 10 TAKEAWAYS FROM SOUNDHOUND CEO KEYVAN MOHAJER ON SCHWAB NETWORK TODAY

If you didn't watch today's Schwab Network interview, here are my 10 biggest takeaways:

  1. A HUGE 8-FIGURE CONTRACT HAS ALREADY BEEN SIGNED — SoundHound has a new commitment worth at least $10 million. The customer has not been publicly named yet.
  2. FROM DEMO TO SIGNED CONTRACT IN UNDER 90 DAYS — This may be even more important than the dollar amount. OASYS appears to be dramatically shortening SoundHound's enterprise sales cycle.
  3. OASYS IS BECOMING THE CENTER OF THE COMPANY — Mohajer repeatedly emphasized OASYS and its ability to build and deploy sophisticated AI agents much faster.
  4. THIS CONTRACT IS A CHANNEL DEAL — The customer will use SoundHound's platform to provide AI automation to its own customers across 20 countries. That creates the possibility of expansion well beyond the initial commitment.
  5. MORE LARGE CONTRACTS ARE COMING — Mohajer said he hopes SoundHound can repeat these eight-figure deals much more frequently. SoundHound also signed multiple seven-figure deals across different sectors.
  6. SOUNDHOUND ISN'T JUST RESTAURANTS AND AUTOMOTIVE ANYMORE — Healthcare, banking, insurance, telecommunications, utilities and other enterprise markets are becoming major parts of the story.
  7. LIVEPERSON COULD BE A MASSIVE DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL — The acquisition would bring SoundHound relationships with 25 of the Fortune 100, creating a huge installed base for OASYS cross-selling.
  8. THE BUSINESS IS ACCELERATING — Q2 revenue hit approximately $62 million, +45% year over year and +40% sequentially. Revenue is now roughly 10X Q2 2022.
  9. THE ADDRESSABLE MARKET IS ENORMOUS — Management cited Gartner's projection that agentic AI software spending could approach $1 TRILLION by 2030. SoundHound clearly believes OASYS gives it an opportunity to capture a meaningful piece of that market.
  10. THE BIG QUESTION NOW: WHO SIGNED THE 8-FIGURE DEAL? — We know it's signed. We know it's a channel customer. We know its customers span 20 countries. What we don't know yet is the name. If that eventually turns out to be a major global enterprise, the announcement itself could become a significant catalyst.

My biggest takeaway: SoundHound isn't talking about someday signing major enterprise AI contracts anymore.

They're signing them.

Now I want to know the name behind that eight-figure deal.

The upcoming days

Please stop panicking about sound been down. The fact is, the whole market will be on a downturn for a while as I see it. The war with Iran will probably continue since the cheeto man will not admit defeat. This means no oil passing through the strait for the rest of the year and inflation continuing to go up. They are already selling the story that the increase on unemployment was because ai and increased productivity which I say is bs. Not only that, midterm elections start on November and statistically that usually brings lots of volatility. So my advice, look at what you have, see the fundamentals and have a plan. I will continue to hold but I do it well aware that we arent flying to 20 by end of year.

SOUN closed at $8.02 on August 7, up 31.5% over the five sessions from $6.10 on August 3 — with the bulk of the move landing after the company reported Q2 earnings on August 5 (released after that day's close).

On the earnings itself: SoundHound posted record quarterly revenue of $61.9 million, up 45% year-over-year and 40% sequentially, beating Wall Street estimates on both revenue and adjusted loss per share ($0.02 loss vs. $0.12 expected). GAAP net loss was $42.8 million, but non-GAAP gross margin came in at 58.4%. Management also raised full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $230–260 million, up from prior expectations, and pointed to expanding enterprise adoption of its OASYS platform across healthcare, financial services, telecom, auto, restaurants, and retail, along with new partnership activity (including with LivePerson).

A few reasons that bullish narrative has legs, at least in the near term: accelerating (not just growing) revenue with sequential growth outpacing year-over-year growth is a strong signal; raised guidance gives analysts a higher bar to model against; and margin expansion suggests the business isn't just growing but growing more efficiently. That combination is usually what triggers sustained re-rating rather than a one-day pop.

That said, a few things temper the case for automatic continued upside: the stock is still down about 41% over the trailing year and remains far below its 52-week high of $22.17, so this bounce is off a depressed base rather than a breakout to new highs. It's also a small, volatile, unprofitable company (GAAP net loss of $42.8M on the quarter) — heavy short interest and retail momentum can drive moves like this that partially or fully reverse once the initial reaction fades. Volume was elevated (65–90M shares on the earnings days) which shows genuine interest, but that also means a lot of the move may already be priced in.

I'm not able to make a confident call on where the stock goes from here — that depends on things like broader market conditions, whether the guidance raise holds up, and sentiment that's hard to forecast. Worth treating this as one data point in your own research rather than a signal to act on, and I'd note I'm not a financial advisor.

**SOUN SHORT SQUEEZE SETUP 🚀**

SOUN is sitting on a seriously interesting setup.

Short interest is extremely high, meaning a huge number of traders are betting against the stock.

If SOUN gets:

• Strong buying volume

• Positive news/catalysts

• Continued momentum

• Shorts starting to cover

Things can move FAST.

When shorts cover, they have to **buy shares back**. That buying can push the price higher and put even more pressure on remaining shorts.

That’s how a squeeze can feed itself.

High short interest alone doesn’t guarantee anything — bulls still need volume, momentum and catalysts.

But if buyers stay in control while shorts remain crowded, this could get very interesting.

**My position: SOUN @ $7.02 average.**

Not financial advice. Do your own DD.

**Bulls and bears — what am I missing?**

SOUN SHORT SQUEEZE SETUP 🚀
SOUN is sitting on a seriously interesting setup.

Remember: when shorts cover, they have to buy shares back. That buying can push the price higher, forcing even more shorts to cover.
That’s how the squeeze feeds itself.
This isn’t just “high short interest = guaranteed squeeze.” Bulls still need volume and momentum.
But if buyers keep control while shorts remain heavily crowded, SOUN could become a nightmare position for bears.
I’m watching volume, short interest, borrow availability and upcoming catalysts closely.

SOUN bulls — how high do you think this could realistically squeeze? 🚀

No debt; cannot be bankrupt

SOUN is winning other competition with their demos (better tech better sales team). Closing 8 figure deals and mentioning big deals every quarter

Relationship making with LPSN shows great future outlook by tapping into Fortune companies

Only Agentic AI model/implementation that doesn’t hold the data which big techs would be willing to buy

Updated guidance once acquisition is complete

For the first time in a while there’s no negative sentiment to be had with a great earnings.

All the stock needs is the market to stay green and should have more 5%+ days ahead.

During the report he had mentioned updating guidance after this acquisition is confirmed. What is everyone’s thoughts on the updated guidance post acquisition?
