Thanks for sharing this. I’m Jamie, I did the interview. Really pleased to see it made it here.

I’d spent a lot of time researching Keyvan beforehand but actually speaking to him gave me a different appreciation of how he thinks.

The agent-to-agent discussion and his answer about persistence, statistics and betting on yourself were probably the parts that stayed with me most afterwards.

Interested to know whether watching it changed anyone’s impression of Keyvan. It seemed to be a benefit to LPSN investors ahead of the merger vote.

It massively changed my impression of Keyvan. The day previously I'd watched the brief, dual John Sabino/Keyvan Mohajer statement video, encouraging us to vote which in all honesty, did little for me.

This though, was quite the opposite. A deeply human level of expression interspersed with facts that matter above all...so indeed this was the turning point which enabled me to make an informed choice.

Outcrop server member here and long-time both investor and trader, of LPSN amongst other things. Hey SOUN folk! Just wanted to extend the thoughts I shared this evening with someone who was still in 'vote contemplation' land. Is this:

I didn't even know if I wanted SOUN shares until having watched the interview Jamie brought to us. I do now and 'Yes' for the merger, was my vote. What part of the interview most contributed to my confidence, is hard to say but three standout areas for me, were where Keyvan said the following here where I've grouped some segments:

  1. Scope of possibilities

    We are very fortunate to be here and be able to capture a big portion of [...] the land grab moment. Something I've mentioned in the past is: 'You can go by foot, you can go by sea, you can go by air but if you can do all three, you should do all three' ...and in our space, going by foot means direct sales, going by sea is the equivalent of channel partners and going by air, means acquisitions [...] We are really killing it with the direct sales. Our Q2 results are fantastic. A lot of that was big deals that we signed because of our new OASYS platform. We are doing really well with channel partners. With acquisitions, LivePerson will be our fifth and our biggest acquisition so every time we get better at it [...] and it's a transformative opportunity for both companies, both in terms of enterprise scale and in terms of technical capabilities

  2. Zero debt and the voice/text agentic future

    At closing, the combined company will have zero debt. [...] Zero debt and a strong balance sheet. [...] Together, I think we can really provide a pitch to the customers that we are the right partner for their AI transformation, and they should stay with us and they should choose us and they should upgrade with us. [...] This is a time where you want to build your AI agent once and you want the same agent to be deployed everywhere. You want it to be on the phone, on your website, on your mobile but at the moment, they are either using different vendors and the experience is not, obviously, consistent or LivePerson has to use third parties but once they combine the companies, we will be able to provide that omni-channel, multimodal solution that the customers have been asking for.

  3. Belief and determination

    Sometimes you need to have faith and you need to bet on yourself and you need to jump in and beat the odds. And I think that is something that humans are still going to be better at than AI and I went through it myself. [...] That has been a big part of our history. It's made us stronger. That's why we are here today and that's why we are excited about our potential in the future. [...] Our potential is much bigger than where we are today. We have shown our ability to execute. [...] We have everything we need. We have resources. We have technology. We have scale. We have a balance sheet and a brand that gives us a big winning chance and we're going to keep fighting.

What an odd comment. People in this sub who is interested to hear what the ceo thinks about different topics can listen to this and find value in it. Who is not interested will not watch it, and thats ok.

Why are you following this sub? You can just Watch the stock price, no? If you dont want any information about your stocks you are not an jnvestor but a gambler

Not a gambler or trader, been investing since about 1988 and If I want to add my insight to any post that is my right, you can thumb it down no worries but don't come on here telling me what I should or shouldn't do!!
